Welcome to the masters in counseling-student affairs program at Northern Arizona University! We welcome you to explore our web page and take advantage of contacting us for any further information.
Our program presents a great experience at a beautiful, quality institution of higher education. Our program meets Council for the Advancement of Standards (CAS) guidelines for student affairs preparation programs; in addition, our counseling courses meet CACREP standards for counseling licensure.
One of our strongest benefits is our collaborative relationship with the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. We have a vibrant student affairs program in which all students seeking assistantships are offered one in various student affairs units such as Residence Life, Multicultural Affairs, Student Life, Recreation Services, Academic Advising, and Academic Support areas.
Northern Arizona University is located in Flagstaff, Arizona in the beautiful ponderosa pines of Coconino National Forest; we are located approximately one hour south of the Grand Canyon, and two hours north of Phoenix. Flagstaff is a moderately sized town with many cultural and recreational opportunities. Welcome again, and feel free to let us know if there’s anything we can do!
