Multiage InstituteThis unique institute was founded by Dr. Sandra Stone in 1995 in order to offer an in-depth study of multiage education for beginning and practicing multiage teachers with the focus on inventing a new system of education and to serve as an international/national resource for multiage educators. The National Multiage Institute, directed by Dr. Stone for the last 12 years, offers multiple graduate courses (12 credit hours), the Southwest Multiage Conference, study tours to multiage schools in Australia and New Zealand, a web site, and other resources.

Graduate students come from all over the United States and many foreign countries to participate in the National Multiage Institute. Participants have included educators from the Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDs) in Europe and Asia, International Schools such as the New International School in Japan, the American School in Milan, Italy, as well as educators from the Netherlands Antilles.
