Phi Kappa Phi Forum Magazine Receives Awards

Wednesday, July 05, 2006

The Phi Kappa Phi Forum magazine was recently awarded three APEX Awards of Excellence and a Publications Management Magnum Opus Award.

APEX 2006—the 18th Annual Awards for Publication Excellence—is an international competition that recognizes outstanding publications from newsletters and magazines to annual reports, brochures, and Web sites.

The Forum’s awards include Overall Excellence for "Magazines and Journals-Print Four Color," "Featured Series Writing" (The Human Brain, Winter/Spring 2005), and "Spreads-'I Still Don't Quite Get It: Video Games and New Realities'" (Computer Games, Summer 2005).

APEX awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry--in the opinion of the judges--in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence.

The Forum received a Silver Award by Publications Management Magnum Opus Awards for Best Series of Articles in The Human Brain issue.

The Publications Management Mangum Opus Awards are designed to honor publications that deliver--strategically, editorially, and visually--with a quality consistency of the highest order.

Congratulations, Phi Kappa Phi Forum magazine staff!
