Audio Visual Lab
(Rooms 189 & 190)

The Audio Visual Lab provides the following computer and audio visual equipment services for faculty, staff, and instructors.

• A tape to tape VHS video system is available for video tape duplication and editing


• A VCR with cable access is available for those wishing to tape a show from television


• A VCR/computer combination is available for those wishing to convert a PowerPoint or HyperStudio presentation to VHS videotape.


• A VCR/laserdisc/computer combination is available for those wishing to digitize video.


• Audio cassette tape recorders are available for checkout from the curriculum library desk


• VHS videocameras and tripods are available for checkout from the curriculum library desk


• 35mm slide projectors are available for checkout from the curriculum library desk


• Assistance is available from the lab manager in the use of classroom AV equipment such as overhead projectors, computer carts, and VCRs.


• Digital cameras are available for checkout from the lab manager


• Windows and Macintosh laptop computers are available for checkout from the lab manager to students (for a maximum 2 weeks) and to faculty and staff (for a maximum of 1 semester)
