The Rodel Exemplary Teacher Initiative:

The vision of the Rodel Foundation of Arizona is to improve our state's education system so that it is widely recognized as one of the best in the country by 2020.

Rodel's Exemplary Teacher Initiative is one of a number of powerful strategies the foundation has designed to make a significant difference in high-poverty schools in Arizona.

Each Rodel Promising Student Teacher is awarded a $1,000 scholarship by their college while student teaching. Successful Rodel Graduates, who go on to teach for a minimum of three years in high-poverty schools, are awarded a $10,000 U.S. Savings Bond by Rodel.

If you are interested in becoming a Rodel Promising Student Teacher, contact Marilee Roberts in the office of Student Services for more information.

Learn more about this initiative at http://www.rodelfoundationaz.org or call 480-367-2920.
